About the opportunity
Let's Play is looking for a capable local operator to launch, run and grow a community Flag Football league, with the Gold Coast as the initial priority market.
This is a flexible, paid, part-time opportunity that would work well alongside an existing role, business or involvement in community sport. It may suit a coach, sports administrator, teacher, club official or someone with strong local sporting connections who is looking for a rewarding side opportunity with the potential to grow.
Rather than a standard employee position, the operator will take ownership of the local league, including community relationships, participant recruitment, competition management and game-day delivery.
What you will do
Launch and grow Let's Play Flag Football in the assigned market.
Build relationships with venues, schools, clubs, universities, councils and community partners.
Recruit participants through local networks, activations and approved marketing activity.
Recruit and coordinate referees, coaches and game-day personnel.
Manage league setup, weekly operations, participant communication and issue resolution.
Use the Let's Play platform for registrations, payments, team administration and reporting.
Identify practical opportunities to expand future seasons, divisions, venues and participation products.

Who we are looking for
- Experience delivering community sport, competitions, events or participation programs.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership of local growth.
- Strong local relationships and confidence working with community partners.
- The ability to organise venues, people, schedules, equipment and communications.
- Sound judgement, reliability and a strong focus on participant experience.
- A valid ABN or capacity to operate through an approved entity.
- A valid Blue Card or Working with Children Check relative to your state or territory.
- The ability to meet the required insurance and compliance standards.

Commercial
Commercial arrangement
The commercial model is designed to reward successful local growth, with operator earnings linked to participant numbers and the successful delivery of the league. The operator fee structure, approved expenses, revenue responsibilities, territory and performance arrangements will be confirmed through a separate operator agreement. No franchise ownership or exclusive territory is implied until formally approved in writing.
Expression of interest
Interested operators will be asked to outline their local connections, relevant delivery experience, operating capacity and approach to launching a new community league.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to participate in a practical planning exercise or activation before appointment.
